Tip the Bottle and Bite the Lime
Today is Tracy's birthday (enter panic mode for those of you who forgot) so we went out to dinner tonight to Olazzo which is where Trace wanted to go. We went pretty early so we wouldn't have to wait because they don't take reservations and I must say it was delicious. We were hoping that it would be the Giacomo's of the South and it was good but it wasn't that good, Giacomo's still reigns supreme. So we are walking home and this guy who had just gotten off of the Metro was walking down the sidewalk and I catch the tail end of the lyrics he was singing aloud..."for fifteen thousand miles." I immediately recognize that I know those lyrics and I must figure out what song they are from. By the time we get home 5 minutes later I've realized that they are from and run to my CD case from high school and college and pull out the Refreshments - Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy. For those of you from the Winchester High School class of 1996 you know this album well. I can't believe this random dude walking down the street was singing a song from this album, it is such a blast from the past...crazy.Let the record show that I'm picking Seattle (+4.5) on Sunday and the over under for number of wings that I will eat is 20...I'm taking the over.
