I Hate The Sun

Those of you that know me well understand that I must always have a core temp of around 60 degrees. Now, I know that is not possible, if it were I'd be dead. I guess what I'm meaning to say is that a temperature of 60 degrees is probably the temperature that I'm most comfortable with and anything over say 75 and I start to get uncomfortable and sweat. Call me a polar bear, call me a fat kid that just sweats waking up in the morning, call me whatever but this is how it is for me.

Now moving down further south to DC where it is generally hotter and more humid was probably not a wise move for someone with my condition but they abundance of air conditioning that exists here compared to New England somewhat offsets this issue. But because the sun is the root cause of of all the heat I can honestly say that I hate the sun.

This probably explains why I don't really like "laying out" at the pool or the beach and it helps explain why Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. I mean what is better than a nice brisk day, 60 degrees, partly sunny and tailgating, or whatever your outdoor activity de jour is.

Anyway, not sure where this post came from. Could be because I've been spending more time outside lately walking to and from the bus and metro for work and sweating my ass off or it could be that it has been cool enough at nights for us to have the windows open and that means Fall is eventually coming.
