Tracy and I are heading out today to look at more condos, maybe today will be the day we actually find something. We've seen several places that we like over the last month but nothing that was "the one".

So with us in the midst of our house hunt I though that it would finally be appropriate to talk about the fact that my parents now have a second home on Cape Cod, in East Dennis. They squared everything away a couple of months ago and are currently gearing up for the summer months.

I have to say that even though I am over 400 miles away I'm extremely excited about this. Growing up and even up through college, as a family, we spent some portion of every summer on the Cape and I have many funny and fond memories of trips that we took to Dennis, Sandwich, Brewster and so on (there were no trips to Providencetown for those you thinking about commenting that below). So this house they got is right near the Dennis Pines golf courses, a short walk to the lake and a short drive to the beach and I haven't seen the inside yet but from the outside it looks great.

So anyway Tracy and I are going up to New England in July and will be spending a few days at the house as well as on the Vineyard. I've included some pics below of the area where the house is and tried to highlight the areas with red squares.
