As usual things here have been pretty crazy. I was in Austin, TX last week for work and it was pretty much what I expected. Austin is a cool little town with lots of bars, live music, BBQ and Tex Mex, all wonderful things in my mind. The one night I was there I went out to Stubb's for some BBQ and a few $2 Miller High Lifes, can't beat that. I did manage to get smacked in the face by my cab drivers trunk when getting dropped off at the airport on my way home. I ended up with a nice bloody scratch down the side of my face as a souvenir. It's a much longer story than that and I don't really feel like rehashing it, let's just say the cab driver was lucky I didn't introduce him to Jack Johnson and Tom O'Leary (see Anchorman if you are confused).

It is a disgusting 97 degrees here which I'm not too pumped about. Spencer and Otis are coming down this weekend to hang out and go to the Red Sox game, should be a blast, let's hope it cools off otherwise we are in trouble.

I'll try to get a nice post before the weekend and I really want to take some pictures and post those but I'll need to get a speedier connection before that.
