Ridin' Dirty In Palm Springs
Ridin' Dirty by Camillionaire was most definitely the theme song of last week's trip to Palm Springs. Al and I and our friend Craig flew out to PSP on New Year's Day and by 1PM west coast time we were teeing off at Desert Willow golf course. The trip was mainly an excuse to drink, eat, gamble and of course golf and we did plenty of all. We ended up playing a total of 6 rounds of golf in 5 days with a huge finale on Friday when we woke up at 5:30AM and played 36 holes in 40-60mph winds.Even though it was extremely difficult to play golf well in the crazy wind the second round of the day was truly amazing. We got some passes to play the Classic Club which is the course where the final round of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic will be played in two weeks. I'm not lying when I tell you that people were cutting the grass along the edge of tee box with scissors when we walked up to the first tee. I can say with confidence that this course is probably the best golf course I'll ever play in my lifetime and the fact that we were the only people crazy enough to be out there playing just adds to the story.I of course got a pretty bad cold while I was out there and I'm still recovering but it was a great trip and I hope you enjoy the Palm Springs 2007 Gallery.
