Red Dawn
Channel surfing tonight I came across Red Dawn on Spike TV and immeaditely became giddy with joy. Red Dawn came out in 1984 and probably hit cable in 1985, so I was 7. It was one of the first movies that I ever taped off of HBO with our VCR and then proceeded to watch each and every day. It was by far my favorite movie growing up because it was, at the time, the most violent movie ever and was the first movie to ever have the PG-13 rating. So not only was it a interesting plot with lot of excitiment (for a 7 year old) but it was badass to watch it.
I'm watching the last half hour right now and will soon be adding it to my DVD library as soon as someone has a reason to buy me a gift. Coming across this movie tonight was like finding a 20 spot in a jacket pocket, it was one of those movies that I had totally forgotten about and I'm so happy that I've rediscovered it.Give me some comments and let me know what other long lost movies might be out there.
"Wolverines!"
