Not Good Times
The last 3-4 days of my life have pretty much sucked out loud. Let's recap:
I could continue on through Sunday afternoon where I got my ass waxed up and down the lacrosse field but that would be overkill. Let's just say that these few days have been forgettable.There were three redeeming events, one was getting to hang out with Al on Wednesday night at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, we had a blast. Two, was getting to see Tracy for 15 minutes because she won't be home until Sunday and three was having Spencer come over last night with Doyle and I for our HR derby draft, Spence is in town with the Babson lacrosse team and it's been a while since we hung out.Anyway, here's to a better week.
10:30 PM Wednesday - Arrive in Fort Worth Texas
8:30 AM Thursday - I don't have Internet access in my room
10:00 PM Thursday - Still no Internet access
5:30 AM Friday - Take a cab 30 minutes each way to pick up materials at Kinkos
8:00 AM Friday - Start teaching eCommerce class
4:00 PM Friday - Finish teaching class
4:05 PM Friday - We're informed our flight has been canceled due to weather on the east coast
5:30PM Friday - Confirm AirTran flight for 7PM on Saturday night
6:00 PM Friday - Have first adult beverage to drink my frustrations away
3:30 AM Saturday- Go to sleep
2:30 PM Saturday - Head to the airport to try to get on an early flight
7:00 PM Saturday - Booked 7PM flight is canceled
7:30 PM Saturday - Realize that my bag was on an earlier flight to Atlanta (it's still there, I think)
11:30 PM Saturday - Finally get a new flight and resolve issues with AirTran
12:30 AM Sunday - Go to sleep
4:00 AM Sunday - Wake up to go to the airport
6:30 AM Sunday - Actually get seated on a plane that is taking off
10:30 AM Sunday - Land at Reagan Airport
10:45 AM Sunday - See my wife for 15 minutes while in the ticket line for her 12:30 flight
